Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear is calling the legislature back for a special 60-day session to address the state's near $1 billion budget shortfall (according to Beshear's estimate), and expanded race-track gaming will be on the table.
Much like the last year, expect the state House to be in favor of the issue, with an uphill battle in the Senate, with Senate President David Williams leading the opposition for race-track slots.
